Dear Colleagues,

Following the very successful 11th International Calreticulin Workshop in New York, May 15-18, 2015, I would like to welcome you to the webpage of the next meeting.

The 12th International Calreticulin Workshop will take place in Delphi, Greece, from the 19th up to the 22nd of May 2017. Amalia Hotel will host all participants and the Cultural Center of Delphi, located close-by, will be the meeting venue, where all scientific sessions will be held.

Delphi is one of the most famous places of ancient Greece, considered to be the center of the earth. The sanctuary of Delphi, set within a most spectacular landscape, was for many centuries the cultural and religious center and symbol of unity for the Hellenic world.

We plan to have an exciting scientific program including most recent advances in Calreticulin research specifically and more generally in the field of endoplasmic reticulum and its roles in health and diseases. We expect scientists from all over the world to be able to participate in this meeting.

We plan to enrich the scientific part with several social events, including a visit to the famous archeological site in Delphi, a visit to a traditional village on the gulf of Korinth (Galaxeidi) and a visit to a famous byzantine monastery in the area, Osios Loukas.

ERA Ltd, a professional conference organizer, will assist me with the organization of the meeting. They are already providing information in this website about registration fees (they include all expenses for transportation from and to the Athens airport, lodging and food) and all other necessary details.

Please mark your calendars and plan your participation, accordingly.

Looking forward to an exciting meeting and your contribution to it.
